As the Canada Business service centre for Alberta, The Business Link provides information and assistance as you start or expand your business. No matter what stage of business growth you’re at, or where you’re located in the province, they’ll help you become well-informed and well-prepared as you strive for business success. The Business Link also works with Community Futures and other local/regional organizations committed to serve Alberta’s small business community.Offering information and advice about everything from start-up, regulations, financing and loan programs to marketing, product sourcing, e-business and government programs and services, the staff at The Business Link are always ready to discuss your business concerns in confidence. In addition to walk-in centres in both Edmonton and Calgary, services include a toll-free business information line (1 800 272-9675), research services, small business learning sessions (many offered at Community Futures offices through videoconferencing or group webcast), specialized services for Aboriginal and immigrant entrepreneurs, a Guest Advisor Program offering professional expertise, monthly networking events, a free monthly e-newsletter, and a comprehensive website at www.canadabusiness.ab.ca.
